Prepare for the test
Use fictional clients, conversations and appointments. When an approved link is available, install through TestFlight or follow the signed installer’s instructions. There is no need to disable Gatekeeper or paste commands into Terminal.

Questions about the preview
How will I install it safely?
TestFlight is our preferred route for the first public test. Install Apple’s TestFlight on your Mac, then open the QuietDesk invitation on this page when it becomes available and choose Install. External testing still requires Apple’s review and our candidate’s independent approvals.
A direct download is an alternative only after the app has a Developer ID signature and accepted Apple notarization. We will provide the verified disk image and instructions to drag QuietDesk into Applications. That installer is not available yet.
A normal first-open confirmation or an optional permission request can still appear. Installation must work with macOS security enabled, without Terminal commands or security overrides.
Is beta testing the subscription trial?
They are separate. The preview is a pre-release test; it does not start the planned one-month subscription trial. The introductory subscription offer will be shown by Apple only when purchases are enabled and you are eligible.
Is this already on the App Store?
No. The app is preparing for distribution. A technical validation of an earlier archive is not approval of this candidate, TestFlight access or an App Store launch.
Will the preview use my clinic’s data?
The website uses fictional examples only. Technical testing should also use synthetic data. Do not send real clinic databases, client conversations or backups.
How will TestFlight work?
When approved for external testing, the invitation will link to Apple’s TestFlight. Follow Apple’s installation instructions. No invitation code or public link has been released yet. About TestFlight
Can I use several branches?
Yes, the clinic can organise multiple service locations. The free plan supports up to four in one country. The current standard edition does not automatically synchronise data between remote Macs.
